sway control/dual cam or equalizer?

I have decided that I am going to upgrade my anti sway control on my hitch. I currently have a drawtite WD hitch with one friction anti sway bar, I really don't have a big problem with sway but I want to take as much precaution as I can (along with all the other safety issues like driving safely!) I don't like the idea that the friction anti sway bar can't be used when it is raining or snowing.

I have been looking at some options, the hensley arrow hitch is really not feasible, I mean money is really not a big issue when it comes to safety but 2800 USD is like 4000.00 Canadian too much for me. The other two units I have seen are the dual cam anti sway bars and the equalizer hitch. Seeing as I already have the WD hitch I think adding the dual cam would be more economical than changing the entire hitch to the equalizer. Are the 2 products comparable in performance? The equalizer looks easier to hitch up but I really don't mind the extra time to hook up the dual cam if it is just as safe. Are the reese and drawtite dual cam the same (are they really the same company)?

I'll get this hitch right one of these days. I know the guys have put the 'high maintenance stamp' on my file but I hate when they say "I reckon it should be good enough", I want more than I need and after all it's my money let me spend it.

dual cam

I used to have the dual-cam before we got a 5th wheel. My trailer pulled as well as my 5th wheel with it.Draw-tite and reese are the same thing. The dual cam is actually easier to hook up than the friction bar as when you do the weight bars you do the anti-sway.I don't have any experience with the equalizer but I remember it was cheaper to upgrade to the dual cam with the reese weight distribution I already had.
