slide in and bed liner
slide in and bed liner
Quite possibly a silly question, but I'd like some opinions...bed has factory plastic liner in it, does everybody pull it out or leave it in when putting on a slide in? Thanks,
Brian

I pull mine out, but the main reason I do that is because my liner is an over-the-rail liner and I have to pull it out to get to the stake pockets to install the tie-downs for the camper.
I purchased a slide in camper a few months ago. I did quite a bit of research on this subject and the concensus seems to be not to have the plastic bed liner in the truck. They say the camper will move around alot easier, so I took mine out and put a rubber mat in the bed.
I had a plastic bed liner in my previous pickup. NEVER again.
A rubber mat came with my current truck and I love it. Really helps keep the camper from sliding around.
I've got a set of the stake pocket tie downs in my garage, rusting.
