Simple inverter ?

I just fell aire to a 750 watt inverter and would like to install it in the dodge to run such things as the laptop, small Tv for the kids etc.

? is this is a 12v inverter is there any problem with wiring this to the battery on the drivers side, the reason I ask is we have two batteries does this mean we have a 24v system?

Thanks from someone that obviously doesn't compute electricity,

Laptops can be a bit picky and get hot if the power is distorted.

Some cheaper inverters put out a crappy 115volts, not a pure sine wave signal. See if it states that it's ok for laptops. Otherwise, plug it in and keep monitoring the heat of the laptop or it's outboard power supply if it has one.

Mechanical things like air pumps are ok and TV's are generally ok as well with distorted power.
