Scraped the Timbrens and added rear leafs

Made a trip from NC to Colorado/New Mexico last month and my Timbrens bounced me something terrible. I had spring shop in Charlotte fabricate and add 2 full length rear springs. Took 5er for a spin today and I can't believe the difference.

What a difference in towing and ride.

After 2 new springs to rear.

Before new springs but with Timbrens.

Timbrens are out the door......

mty ride

Believe it or not it rides good. It is a little stiffer and much less bouncy coming off a bridge approach at 70mph. Very tollerable.

A set of Ride Rite Air bags would most likely have done the same and or better and only have cost $214 and you could have installed them yourself in about 45minutes. Nice setup though, that's why I got the 3500 and still added air bags
