rear leafs shot
rear leafs shot
So my rear leafs are finally giving in to the hard life of a landscape truck. (it was a stone masons truck before I got it). They sagged from teh first, and I put some bolt on helpers on there, but now they're really bending in a way that makes me want to replace them. Any recommendations? It's not always loaded down, and I don't want much of a lift -- just bring it back even with the front.
thanks

find stengle bros spring on the web, i couldnt get the link up here. My stock 6 leaf pack was shot , I put on a 9 leaf, 4k pack that works great. Not so great on the ride area. 560 shipped to my door.
Now that your springs are weak, it would be a perfect time for some airlift or firestone air bags. I am doing the same with my front. You can get both firestone or airlift made to fit your truck. It will probably help your ride out a lot, and you can put a HUGE load on them when you really fill em up.
I don't want to get myself swamped in a big project, as much as I'd love to make it air ride. I need this truck to work 5 days a week. Replacing the springs seems like the easiest solution, is Stengle the best deal out there?
He didn't mean full air ride, just air "assist" springs, they'll probably take you less time to install then changing the springs. and a set is about $250 for brackets and bags, no compressor or auto fill or anything. But a small portable compressor works just fine as there's not much volume to them.
