Schuck Cushion hitches?

I used one this fall for pulling farm wagons and really virtually eliminated all jerk. The farmer I helped is buying me model 705-RT for helping him and I just wondering if anybody has experience with them. IF not you can check them out here http://www.schuckhitches.com/ kinda curious what you folks think.

Thanks DuaneW.

Re:Schuck Cushion hitches?

I pull hay balers for my job (Vermeer mfg.) and I hate to pull without them. I have the 750 RT R ( I think). It swivels and extends. I have 40,000 miles of pulling balers and have not needed to put new bushings in it. They are worth the cost.

Re:Schuck Cushion hitches?

I've got a model 340 that my wife bought me for Christmas a couple of years ago. ;D I only use it for pulling wagons, etc.,things with a drawbar. It works great and keeps a load with a hitch pin from beating you to death and saves wear and tear on the vehicle as well as the occupants. I highly recommend them to anyone. I don't use it for trailers because I usually use a bigger drop. Just my .02.

Re:Schuck Cushion hitches?

hey POSM,
Glad you like it, I assume you have had no troubles with the cam locking mech. as you like yours. That was my main concern with the extend/swivel. The 750 RT has 5 1/2" drop while the 750 RT R only has 3 1/2" drop. The RT R just didnt seem like enough drop for a 4x4.

thanks for the response.
