Anybody have a Road Rest armrest cushion?

I'm thinking about getting some for the wife's van. I was looking for something to attach to the factory armrest but can't find anything on the market. The Road rest cushion attachs at the window level of the door which seems kind of high for comfort. Anybody have it and like it???

I have had a couple. I like them, for me it is where I want to rest my elbow. Kind of hard on old bones. I have to get another one. Last one I knocked off and out the window driving down the road with the window down . Actually that is what happened to the first one also . It is worth the $20 or so that they cost to me.

Its too high for me. I would perfer one in the stock location. Even after a few hours of driving the center console starts getting to me as well.

I think I may come up with something to attach to the factory armrest. I tried the window ledge out this afternoon and even without a pad it seemed too high and uncomfortable....

on long trips i bring along two pillows off the bed. One for the door side and one on top the console. Like sitting in a well padded recliner

I'm really looking for something for the Wifey's conversion van. Awesome leather captains chairs and a hard plastic armrest on the door! I just don't get it.....

My buddy swears by them. He couldn't live w/out one.

Is it possible for them to scratch the windows????

I never had any problem with one scratching the window. They don't clamp in hard enough to really scratch the window. If there was that kind of pressure from the window they would just push off. They are really easy to take off, on purpose or accidently.
