Seat cushion question

On my 98 with leather seats, the driver's side is worn but not cracked, and the passenger's seat is perfect. Can I switch the 2 bottom cushions by just taking out the 4 bolts in the cushion, or are they not the same size and shape. I don't want to completely wear out my driver's seat. Thank you.

I switched on my 98. No problems, bolted right in. Both cushion bases have both sets of holes. (you'll see what I mean).

Think they were 10mm bolts.

I did the same thing on my 2000. Fit right in, I think the bolts were self tapping and the drivers seat hit a different hole in the seat bracket. The bolts are 10mm, I had them off this evening to fix the power seat.

Hey Silverjay, you can't just say this in passing, what was the problem with the power seat and how'd you fix it? I know about a hunnert hauler's with dead rear cushion adjuster motors. Fess up, are sitting on the solution? Pun intended.

Cheers,

Are you talking about pulling the whole seat at the floor mounts.
