Sandpiper 5th's?

I'm looking at a '92 24 ft and a '95 26ft Sandpiper Fifth Wheels. They both have 90 day warranties. Are they worth buying? Any major problems with this brand/vintage?

Thanks

I have a 94 Sunrise which is pretty much the same trailer, but with a more aerodynamic nose. I haven't had any issues with it, so far. That vintage would have been built by Cobra Industries. I believe that when they disappeared, Forest River continued to build the Salem and Sandpiper models. Your main concern would be with the appliances and they were all major brand names in mine. I've been happy with mine. Good luck, and as always, be vigilant and all should be well.

Thanks. I ended up buying a '93 Jayco 25 1/2' last night. It's mint inside, decent out. Ducted A/C, etc. I've got to flip the axles and get a hitch. It's sure going to be an improvement over my 8' slide-in. No more fighting loading up the camper! The wife absolutely hated jacking the camper up on 6" blocks to get the truck under it. Never mind tripping over a big dog taking up all the floor. Camping might actually be relaxing.
