Anyone know how to value an Rv, in particular a fifth wheel camper with a salvage title. Seems like I heard of a percentage that you deduct off of the value if the title is salvage. Any information on this will be appreciated. I live in North Carolina........don't know if there is a different percentage depending on what area of the USA you reside.

 

I don't know for sure but even if it's in good shape, I wouldn't give any more than about 35% of NADA. You can always get one w/a good title for 25-35% off NADA especially right now w/the market the way it is.

What was the reason for the salvage title?

 

Water filtration system froze in a hard winter...........owner did not winterize, or drain system..........when thawed.........LOTS OF WATER draining in "basement" storage area of trailer.

 

On salvage cars Ive done I would sell for loan value.
