Ridgeline commercial

Has anyone else seen the honda ridgeline commercial of the guys in the truck pulling a boat through the woods? Well the commercial is a bear steps out and they have to hit the brakes. I noticed that when their stopping, the rearend of the truck gets pushed sideways from trailer. Anywyas i thought id see if anyone else caught it too.

I was wondering why Honda Corp wastes money on those commercials. I saw one with some Cowboys getting out of one. What a joke! Just show some City slickers or some women at the nusery instead. Anyone that needs a real truck to actually work wouldn't even consider the Ridgeline.

There is a guy down the street from me who owns one...

They are ugly as sin, and not even close to a real truck. At least they got Honda's reliability going for them

dont get me wrong i thinkk the ridgline has some appealing aspects to it but towing a 20'+ boat is not one of them. i like the ad with the two honda bikes in the back and im sure it would be cool to tailgate with, but lets face it, its not much truck. any fuel mileage numbers on those things yet?

It is all an attempt to get real money with an imitation. They are tryng to cash in like Ford did with the first Bronco which was an attempt to get the cowboy off of his horse while riding fences. It got spark plugs and don,t float. It would make a cute grocery getter.

You guys do know that the Honda doesn't even have a frame??? IT'S A UNI-BODY ... Sorry but how could you ever put a hitch on that thing without having support brackets that would darn near run to the grill...

Then you have some Yahoo that goes to the nursery and has then overload it with wet mulch and kinks the body ....

A long time ago, ford or chevy made a truck that was all one piece (no seperation between the bed and cab).... I was told those things nearly imploded just from starting the engine....

Honda has some neat ideas, but it is obvious that they allowed the car designers make this truck, not guys named Big Bob, Tiny, etc... that just got done destroying thier last work truck and laughing about it...

uni-body's have thier place, but not in a truck world....
