Reverse Gear to High

I have a 2003 Dodge 1 ton 2wd Dodge Cummins Diesel w/ 6 spd manual tranny, 3.73 gear ratio. I pull a 15000 lbs gooseneck trailer when loaded. When I back up in a tight area, I have to creep, so I have to ride the clutch, & smelled the clutch burn. Anybody have any suggestions on this matter. And also I was told about the U.S. Gear Dual Range UnderDrive Aux Transmission Option, But just don't know.
P.S. Just to let every body know this is a 2-wheel drive & I don't have a low range to shift it to.
Thanks,

If you need an over/under-drive unit, I've heard good things about US Gear. I've never dealt with them, and they only offer either over- or under- drive splitters, but if their website is to be believed they are built tough, light and not too highly priced.
There website is as follows: www.USGEAR.com
Oh, nevermind. I see you've already heard of them. My bad...

If you are buring the clutch I have to assume that you are also giving it fuel and bringing the RPM's up. Leave the gas pedal alone and let the engine do its work, it will apply more fuel to keep from stalling. I think by changing your backing style you should have nothing to worry about.
I back up a 22,000# trailer into spots all the time with no problem at all. Heck I have wished I had a higher geared reverse some times.

If everything is right the brakes on the truck should stop the GVW of the truck, the brakes on the trailer should stop the GVW of the trailer, that equals proper brakes for stopping.

Spaman,
I am backing up 16000#, up hills, tight maneuvers - - never had a problem. As stated, don't touch the go pedal - - let the governor keep the rpms low, but sufficient. Work at letting the clutch out all the way as much as possible.
