Reese 5th wheel mounting
Thanks J I have the thick rubber mat so i'll proubly cut it too fit . I got started late this afternoon got my inner fender wells out an spare tire out of the way. Got the rear rail measured an marked . Then I realized I don't have a 17/32 bit a 5/8 might work but i'm gonna see if I can get one tommorrow .
Well thanks again guys its in no real proublems except drilling the frame slowed me down . It amazes me that it'll be capable of handleing a 20K G/N just holding on with those four brackets an the trk bed . But you fellows have convinced me its capable of it . Where do you hook your safety chains when pulling a G/N ?

If you have decent bolt patterns or weld patterns over the rear wheels, the first thing that'll actually fail is the frame right behind the cab.
We see that here in the rust belt once in awhile. Usually takes some real serious abuse or unintended off-roading at speed in addition to years of rust to git er bent.
