All of a sudden my trailer has developed a problem. When the furnace is turned on all the lights dim, to the point of very little light. Fan on the furnace doesn't run full blast either. This is true whether the batteries are hooked up or not.
Any ideas on where to start testing?
Thanks for the help.

If it happens on shore power and the battery then you need to look at the converter to see if it is putting out the correct voltage. Sounds like your batteries are not getting charged and the converter is the place to start.
Also it could be a dieing battery and the converter can not bring it up to full charge.

I had a similar problem when I was out camping (dry). I even barrowed a battery from some family camping next to me. Then I tried the genset with/without battery disconnect on/off... Still same deal.
I ended up finding the converter power and ground large gauge leads were slightly loose and not making a good connection. It wasn't obviously loose either. Maybe start there and see if that helps?

Well, took a long time to get back to this issue.
Here's the scoop. Batteries are NOT hooked up but TT is plugged into shore power.
Turned on one light after another and things started to dim. Didn't turn on furnace just focused on lights. No a good outcome.
Using a volt meter I measured the DC voltage coming out of the convert, 13.4 VDC, that's good. Turned on a few lights and the meter read 10.7 VDC, not good. Then turned on furnace, meter read 9.9 VDC.
Not sure but looks like the converter is not keeping a steady 13.6 VDC.
What do you think? Does this most likely indicate a bad converter?
Thanks folks.
