Is this pushing it

I have a 2002 3/4 ton with a 6 speed and plan on pulling a 28 foot trailor from minnesota to oregon. The catch is that the trailor will probely weigh in at around 15000 pounds. Would this be pushing the truck too much and not be recomended and if you have any tips im all ears

Unless you got a bigger turbo its gonna be hot with 150hp injectors and your taller tires, towing that much. As you get closer to the northwest here there is some pretty good sized hill climbs and passes. and also thats alot for a bumper pull. Is the trailer even suitable for that kinda wieght?

I'm guess your using WD (Weight dist) bars on that trailer? Assuming its a bumper pull.

put class 5 receiver and a w/d hitch and go for it, a lot of 3 axle toy haulers are that heavy (bumper pulls) you might need a CDL with that wieght

oh and the 15000 is the combined load of trailor and the actuall load cause i figure a traillor that size would have to weigh in at around 5000 pounds just sitten empty

I'd run with the edge off to keep temps down. I turn my XZT+ off when towing and have never had any problems with hotness. Also keep those RPMs above 1800.
