Post your boat
$65-70K a piece

Considering that the dealer cost on a Merc 850SC is around $67K.
1075SCI's are probably around $100K a piece (the 50 hour "factory freshen up" is $23,000 USD).
I DID have one boat that didn't fit that, an 87 Mastercraft. I just about shed a tear when that thing was towed out of the driveway. Really nice boat, never gave me a solitary second of trouble.

Some other boating terms are:
B.O.A.T (Break Out Another Thousand)
And one I just learned: "Boat Buck". A surveyor I met out in Ohio last month while looking at another potential boat told me, "That part right there will run you about a Boat Buck. I looked at him kind of funny, he went on to explain that every "boat buck" is equal to a thousand dollars.
We love boating, it's a mini vacation every weekend. The wife & kid acted like I was asking for a divorce when I told them I was going to sell the old boat. They ony agreed when I found this one in Kentucky. Had this one for 2 years now. The other boat had a 4.7 V6 would burn a $20 or so on a weekend but this one has the 7.4L it'l go thru some cash this summer.
With the truck & boat fuel tanks full I'll had over $400 in fuel...oh well.

Here is a pic of my baby. Well it was when I was still living on the Chesapeake. Sonic 33RS, repowered with HP500's, Bravos, Mayfair Hydraulic Steering, yadda yadda. It was a fast way to get to the lagoons and drink beer. 70MPH on GPS, and it would run 60 through 4-6' seas all day long. Poker runs rule!
With today's gas prices, I definitely don't miss the weekend fuel bills!
It was named "Rambunctious" interestingly enough...

I hear you on that, I have a 1980 mastercraft I have been restoring. Been in the family since brand new. Replaced the left stringer, floor and many other things, just need to get her wired up and and have some fun! They are solid boats indeed.
