New (to me) 38 Fountain. Hope to have it home by the weekend. Needs some minor, nit picky type stuff done, other than that it is in pretty good shape.

No photos, but I got me a 26ft pontooner with a 25hp envinrude. It might not be slow, but the beer tastes good and 30 bucks will take me around the lake by my house all weekend.

Dog loves to boat and swim, so I guess I gotta keep it?

If I ever did buy another boat, this is exactly what I would buy. I call them party barges.

Hey PJ, that boat looks familiar to me. Where did it come from? My Sonic used to live at Tomes Landing there. Is that where you are?

yep ,consider it sold a freind just closed on his Lake Limestone House and needs to spend more on fuel than i do to impress his new neighbors. Wifey wants to pick up a Newer RV and there are some KILLER deals ($$fuel cost) The other Two boats are staying they are paid off. Great boat and i still get to run her when i go visit

Boat came from Michigan, it's been up in Brick, NJ for a few years now. Doubt you've seen it around here though. It had 600 HP blower motors in it up until about two weeks ago. I'm buying it with basically STOCK power (770 HP total).

I do know a number of people that stay at Tomes, a few other fountains down there. We will be trailering it. I can't see paying $2500 a year for high and dry.

NICE! I had a 87 Prostar 190 (Powerslot package).

Thing was nasty for a stock boat, you were either hold on, or laying on the floor in the back.

When I went to sell it, I had a guy call from Tennessee, he was like: "Well, I suppose you are getting all kinds of calls on it by now"

I was like, "Uh,...yeah".

Sold it for $2800 more than I paid for it after using it 4 seasons.

GREAT BOATS, don't ever let some one tell you the Correct Crafts are better build. Not putting them down, I would own a Nautique too, but the Mastercraft's rule.

Heres our old one:

Yup, I actually have seen that boat a few times. My buddy and I used to run all the local poker runs and APBA races we could. He worked for Marine Max and was up in Brick all the time. Small world! Enjoy it!

I will be back home the 6th-11th for that same guy's wedding. Probably take his 38 Fountain out if I can. Definitely hitting the Tap Room and Chesapeake Inn on Friday night.
Boating out here is a different deal. Saltwater and sharks are no fun (plus the water is cold and there are no good dock bars). The Delta is cool for warmer, fresh water and dock bars, but its all narrow sloughs and its like running a boat through neighborhood streets. No good for a big boat because you are always dodging waterskiers and stuff. The northern Chesapeake is the best place on earth for a boater, in my opinion.

Here's mine...I attached a video just cause I can, in that vid it has a 2.4L 200 on it, ran about 71mph on the gps, now has a 2.5L 200 EFI motor...working on that right now...boat's an '85 Hydrostream Voyager, 20'. Very happy with it, the open bow is great, but a little slower than it's closed bow counterpart, but I'll sacrifice a few mph for some room, lol! Either way, it's not much work for the Dodge, if any at all, haha!
