The picture was taken in haste to show what the in-bed harness looks like, if you run the cable between the neck and chains it lays out of the way nice and neat.. but hey what do I know.. 4 years + on that system with no undo wear and tear on the cable.. here is another picture (on the flat-bed same ball height) for you to over-analyze that proves my point:
