One more Prodigy P3 question and thats it....I promise
Got my Prodigy P3 hooked up last night(first brake controller ever BTW) Looks nice installed, cant wait to try it.
One question though......Do I have to unplug it everytime im not using it? My truck has the factory tow package so I guess I just assumed it would shut off when I turned the truck off or took out the key fron the ignition.....but it stays on? Have I not found the on/off button? I think its kind of stupid if im going to have to plug it in and unplug it everytime......just rather mount it up and leave it there until I need it.
Am I missing something, as im curious how many cycles of pluggin it in and unpluging it I will get before the wiring connector breaks?
Thanks guys

Nope, just leave it plugged in all the time.
It has a auto power down feature. After about 15 minutes of not moving and the brake pedal not being touched it'll go to sleep. Look at it after that without touching the brake pedal and you'll see the lights are off on it. Touch the brake pedal and you'll see it wake up.
