Your 10,840 lbs on the truck= well with in sticker on the door.
17,820 on first look is under GVW, on second look we would need to know if this is an empty weight or a loaded weight? If empty you will need revist scale once loaded to know exactly where your at.

Yes the trailer was empty. It is a 4 horse so if I carried 4 horses it would be around 5000 lbs of horses. Max I probably will ever carry is 3. Going to use the 4th stall as a mud room.

From door sticker..
Front axle: 4740
Rear axle: 9350
GVWR: 11500 Is this both vehicle axles combined?

What total trailer weight can I pull?

Finally found what I was looking for on the dodge website.

Towing capacity= 15,900 lbs
GCWR= 23000 lbs.

I should be right at the limited all loaded up with about 500 lbs to spare. I got the curb weight front and rear and was able to calculate my pin weight from that. Pin weight= 2760. Trailer weight= 9740 (empty) Will be able to load it up another 6160 lbs.

Correct me if I am wrong please.

Looks like you got her figured out. Without going back to the scales loaded your as close as your going to get.

What brand LQ did ya pickup?

It is an Exiss Event XT412 with 12ft. short wall with the Sierra Blue Sky LQ. It is also 8ft wide / 7'6" tall. Little bit bigger than what I wanted but you know how wives want more room. I had some issues when I first got it but they have all been corrected under warranty. I know 4 Star makes some excellent trailers but no dealer anywhere near here so that was out.
