Neat idea, but $1700 for only 30gals of capacity?

Titan tanks have gotten stupid expensive over the past few years!

my opinion

Price is outrageous. $999.00 would be acceptable but not $1700.

So once installed the owner has more fuel on hand but has to find another solution for the spare tire. Leave it loose in the box & it is a projectile & a target for thieves.

I have buddies with the Titan tanks in their Ford and Chevy from several years ago. Haven't had any issues that I know of. I was looking a while back when I thought my budget could afford one..... I was wrong.

I ran across Aero Tanks. Was looking at the SB-60. They use the spare tire area as well but you can still mount the tire albeit lower to the ground.

I posted the link about the new tank because... it was new. I agree that the price is ridiculous, the Titan main tank is around $1400 here in Canada which I feel is too much as well. It might be different if you were gaining a lot more volume but 20 gallons in the main and 30 gallons in the rear AND to give up your spare wheel all for the one price of $3100.00 ????

Okay they're crazy for that price.

I bought the OEM replacement back in '09 for my '08, and now I'm glad I did. There just isn't a reason to justify that much of a leap in pricing.
