I think it's a great idea but I also know 99% of people don't care about hitch weight, I have yet to see a commercial trailer hauling a large piece of equipment like a big bob cat on a 14,000lb plus pull behind using torsion bars, heck most of them don't even fully tighten the chains they tied down the bob cat with.
