New Slide in Camper
New Slide in Camper
I just picked this camper up yesterday. It was for sale on craiglist, when I contacted the dude he had already moved out of state and was fed up with the camper. He told me to go grab it and it was free,
he is sending me the title(I guess Oregon requires titles and registration).
Anyway, I need to get new batteries. Based on another thread I may go with golfcart batteries, what solar panels would you guys recommend getting. At least how many or size panels for a single 12v system(2 GC batteries).
Any recommendation on what to paint aluminum exterior with? Gonna go black with it.....
Also, any thoughts on LP systems? I am kind of weary on using gas in the thing, it has a stove, oven, fridge and heater that run on gas.... Any thoughts?
Thanks for any input. Heres some pics....

I wouldn't go black or any dark color, it will just make it hotter inside, as for the propane it works very well and most campers use it, I must admit that the gas TV picture is not the best.
If you ditch the propane you'll be sorry, no cooking, water heater, furnace and last but certainly not least, cold beer in the fridge.
