New From Air Lift - LoadLifter 5000 ULTIMATE

Just wanted to formally announce the launch of our new air spring kit, the LoadLifter 5000 ULTIMATE.

This kit includes all of the benefits of our standard LoadLifter 5000 air spring kit but also features an exclusive internal jounce bumper, providing the ultimate in ride comfort and safety.

If you are interested in more information, feel free to check out all the details on our main product page: LoadLifter 5000 ULTIMATE

And you can always reply here, send me a PM, or send me an email (rjohnson@airliftcompany.com) with any other questions. Thanks!

Sorry for bringing up such an old post, but does anyone have experience with this system? I'm especially curious as to how the ride is unloaded without air in the bags. Is it similar to stock? Thanks.

Generally speaking, yes.

Unloaded I run about 5 psi and it goes unnoticed. However, if you leave it inflated to compensate for say a 5th wheel after you detach, then yes, you get a buckboard effect.

I like the air bags and have had good luck with my Air Lift 5000's for 3 years now.

I bought a set about a year and a half ago specifically because you don't have to keep any air in them when you don't need them.
They've worked fairly well, the truck rides nice and handles lots of weight but they really haven't helped with picking up chicks like I hoped.

Just a little tip for how to manage so that you can easily reinflate while away from home. Carry a hand operated bicycle tire pump to reinflate. They are pretty much failsafe, cheap, and don't require that many pumps to reinflate your bags.
