Moving rear jacks for road clearance

Many of the areas I travel, I need a little more rear ground clearance. I had dealer raise my RV by 1" at spring brackets to level the coach and I moved rear leveling jacks up closer to rear wheels next to spare tire. I plan to use the existing tubing on rear to mount my receiving hitch. Please note first photo shows rear jacks hanging down. First photo was before we raised the coach.

That is CLOSE. Why is the spare on the bottom anyway? Seems like it ought to be anywhere but there.

That is just where the factory put it. While on the road and camping the clearance is not a problem. After my first flat I might think different.

hhmmm, an interesting question Dan, but let me ask you this ?? If you are going to remove the jacks cause they hang down too far aren't yah gonna have to relocate the spare? Just looks that way to me.

By the way nice 5er

Please look at the first photo closely. Originally the jacks were on the very rear. I have now moved them half way toward the rear axle. Which happens to be beside the spare, which I don't have clearance issues with.
