Didn't noticed it while test driving one. But I'm use to using the mirrors.

me too, but can't exactly do that when blind-siding a trailer into a hole.

My problem with a MegaCab is you will run out of truck GVW when towing. 3500 duallys are rated at only 10.5k.

It finally hit me...If DC had left the C pillar narrow like the QC, or at least thinner than what they did, it would look ok...But that HUGE C pillar makes it look

Well they couldnt make the rear 2 doors any longer, if they did you'd have a huge door that wouldnt be able to open in parking lots. They fitted the short bed on a long bed chassis and then filled in the extra space with a longer cab. That means longer door and then a longer C pillar. WIthout the big C pillar the door would have to be haooge.

still ugly, don't go trying to justify DC's poor judgement. good reason to put stacks on one then, try and lure the attention away from the cab?

Regardless of the "c" pillar you have to use your mirrors anyway the height of the vehicle hides any car in the blind spot to the right & below the passenger door. Just part of driving a "high sitting" 3/4 ton or any large vehicle...

Love the Mega Crew cab but DC where in the "heck" are the cupholders?

That's the behind-the-seat storage area, which the quad cabs like mine do not have.
