mega, b&w, and jayco eagle???

I have a Jayco Eagle and have ordered a Mega Cab SRW 1 ton and planning to put in a B&W hitch. I need to know if the 4" off-set is a must since I have a gooseneck hitch on the trailer? With the off-set, will I be able to turn 90 degrees?

Thanks in advance

You need to measure. Somewhere out in cyberspace is a guide to measuring to be certain everything works without interfering.

I've got a short bed qcab b&w and jayco 5th wheel. The b&w can only mount in one location. It's ahead of the axle a few inches. Mine works fine with the companion. It works better with my gooseneck trailers.

Thanks Homer. I did some checking and it looks like there would be 31.5 inches without the 4 inch setback. I will go ahead and get the set-back ball for peace of mind if nothing else. I just wish the mega cab would come in a long bed.

It can be for 3-5k!! I will have $2900 invested, 600 miles of driving, and 2 weekends of time for r&r of my aux tank and 5th wheel hitch when I am done with my longbed mega!

You would be better off with a slider hitch. I have a reese signature series in mine and it works great. That and gooseneck adapters on 5thwheels adds alot of stress to the trailer frame.
