I see no problems on the truck..

However the trailer sounds overloaded with the forklift on it..
You said:

"im lookin to get a goosneck from tx a 25ft deck with 5ft dovetail..14000lbs ..empty is says 5100lbs.."

This sounds like a dual 7K Axel w/ singles your 14000 less MT weight 5100 = 8900 lb payload plus est 2000 to the truck = 10900 safe hauling load. Forklift is 13,000 2100 over the load limit...possible blow out on the single trailer tires and or tweaking the trailer axles/frame loading the forklift on it.

You need a tandem axle trailer with dually's to be in the safe load limit with the forklift on board.

Check out my trailer pics in my profile, tomorrow I start my 32' tandem - dually's to haul my 17K forklift on...

PJ Trailers out of Texas makes a good trailer that has powder coat finish . go online to their website and see if they have a dealer near you. freight is not bad on the units as they stack em tall for a full load..

I've even heard of dealers giving you a break on the price if you want to pull in a load yourself.

Grab a copy of the Truck Trader at any supermarket. There's at least 6 trailer dealers in the NY/NJ/PA area all with ads (Bri-Mar, Big Tex, Kauffman, P-J, Stephan L. Green, etc.......).

thanks guys i picked up a 2007 CAM gn, 15,000lbs...20ft with 5ft dove tail and stand up ramps...i wanted to go for the flat layin ramps to get a full 25 ft but i couldnt beat the deal i got on this one....the guy bought it july 1st 07 used it to go to arizona and back to pa once and then it sat inside a barn for a month...never even seen rain, oak deck, no scratches and a built in 10,000lb winch up front with battery, all for 3900.....first time pulling a gn and there is nothing like it compared to a bumper pull

YOU LUCKY DOG YOU! the only thing you have to watch with a goose over a bumper pull is they track the circle tighter, just take it wide and you'll be ok..

Welcome to the goose neck club.. Oh and buy the way one is never enough.. I'm building a 32' deck over 26K trailer now...
