Load Range "E"

Getting tires this weekend. I currently run a 315/70/17 D and want to get a tire that is as close to that size but in a Load Range E. Anybody have any good input on what is worth the money? The closest I can find is a 285/75/17 which comes out to a 34-11.50 if Im not mistaken. I had the Interco Vortracs on my last truck but sold it before I could tell if it was a good tire or not. Not really wanting to spend $1500 on tires either. Thanks in advance.

Bridgestone just released their Revo 2 in that size in a "E" rating. Tirerack has them listed @ $220 ea and very reasonable shipping.

I've had good luck with Wrangler Silent Armor

I know they make em in that size, just not certain on the E rating. But it might be worth a shot.... Quiet on the highway and last quite a while!

Ok I ordered the Vortrac's again. Except this time Ill get to use them. I know they were expensive but I looked at Nitto TG 305/70/17 and they were the same price. The only way I was going to save money was to get a D range or go smaller, like a 285. Anyhow, its done. Its just money right?
