OK... two questions.
For those who've done it... did you get the "30035" Universal kit or the "special" spacers and rear/passenger brackets for Dodge? (I don't mean the helper springs brackets, I don't think my 2500 has helper springs).
I'm asking becuse e-trailer.com has different part numbers than the Reese site and the cheapest site (reese-hitches.com)
...and yes, I never would have dreamed that my new truck would "need" so much stuff. I forgot to mention the DVD player for the kids... (which means the video digitizer to move VHS to DVD)

OK... one last question.
Anyone ever heard of tacking a weld on the nut to stop it from loosening?
A buddy offered to do that for me. He said I could always grind it and break it free with an air wrench if it needed to come out...

Installs
As I mentioned we have installed 3, The bolt will stay in the frame with the serrations on the bolt you must be sure to drill the bolt hole exactly the right size ( I think the instructions say 17/32") as you put the nut on drop a few drops of "Loctite" & torque it to 85 foot pounds. I don't beleive you need to worry about a tack weld on the nut, mine have had no problem comming loose in over 3 years. Works like a charm.
You do have to enlarge a hole in the frame to reach the bolts into the front two brackets.
Not to bad to install... good luck

DRSMART I am sure that if you check the pullrite web site you will find all the info you need. Also pullrite provides you with "fishin" wire and the bolts are welded to a bracket to prevent them from turning . The bolt also have a loop welded to the threaded end for the "fishin" wire.
