There is also this one http://www.crewcabsleeper.com/ , but a picky DOT officer can still call it illegal. Regs say you need 24" of height from the top of the mattress, and both of them lack that were they either extend into the door or out the window. I have talked with the legalization dept at the company I haul for and they will not accept it as a sleeper. I also have met and know of another put out of service in Indiana for illegal sleeper and false logs (logged sleeper). Its a good idea and if you just log off duty, then they can not get you for the violation.

I guess you haven't been in too many truckstops . An England driver backed into the right front fender while I was in eating then moved to another spot . Luckily I came out as he was pulling away from my truck . The cops came and he denied hitting it even though there were paint chips next to his left trailer taillight . His insurance paid for repair and downtime with no problem .

I avoid parking with the big trucks as much as possible, I have seen way to many of our driver get hit and runs too. But remember those England, Swift, JB Hunt guys took that 3 week class so they must know how to drive.

After a 1500 mile non-stop run, you'll sleep like a little baby in that!!
