Lance Camper
Lance Camper
Every once in awhile, we come across a good deal and want to share our good fortune with others. Mine came in the form of a 1994 Lance Squire Model 3000. I found it on a consignment lot in Sherman, Texas. The guy that had had it was in dutch with his wife and had already come down to $4500 for it. I called and offered $3500 for it.....and he took it!
It is fully self contained with air, heat, extended cab over with queen sized bed, and very few interior or exterior blemishes. Everything works except the microwave...it don't have one. I thought I would have to replace the LP gas tanks with the new valve ones, but found that, at least in Texas, the horizontal mounted tanks are exempted by the Railroad Commission. Two rows of screws under the cab over has some stress cracks from the wind. I'm going to scab that with a piece if thin, diamond plate aluminum.
Pics are in gallery.
