Lance Camper Wiring
I need to wire my new 600SLT 4x4 for my 97 Lance Camper.
Is their a plug in adapter that goes under the bed somewhere?
Do I have to run the wires from the trailer plug?
(Not many Lance Campers up here in B.C.)

I use a piece of channel to completely box (hatbox) the frame with 3/8 flatbar across near the tank. 2 -1/2" bolts each side, and weld my tiedowns (about 16"square tubing) to that and no drilling/welding of the frame. (of course) I have used this set-up on 3 different trucks, just keep modifying them to fit.
I have tried the so called belly bars but it broke on a hunting trip.

It's the tank that is screwing me up... I managed to build the bar for the back today. I just need to fab something up for the front now. (engineering "on the fly")
Back to your origional question... If you got the trailer tow package, you should have a seven pin trailer wire plug in the bumper and a flat four pin tucked up in behind. Run down to Princess Auto and get a trailer light wiring kit and plug it into your flat four (with generous gobs of bulb grease) then run your power from the front batteries through a starter selonoid (controlled by the "key on")
..... at least that is the way I will be doing it....
