I was going to mention that but decided not to. I dont agree with what the Chinese are doing in that respect but my wallet yelled louder than my concionce(sp) when push came to shove.

I would love to get my hands on the Kipor KDE 2200. These go for $500 USD in the UK but can't be imported for whatever emissions reasons. I really don't want anything gasoline powered, especially when my truck is diesel and gasoline doesn't store very well. I wonder if Canadians can get these?

I checked that site and the 2000 watt unit is virtually the same price as the Honda eu2000i. It looks like the 3000 watt unit is a bit cheaper, however.

I have heard the Kipor run at some RV shows, and there are really quiet. Maybe not quite as quiet as the Honda and Yamaha, but quiet enough not to be a nuisanse.
