King Pin Stabilizer

Have seen these stabilizers around...never had the chance to talk to anyone about them. Anyone using one? Help stabilize enough to justify carting one around.

I have one, and it does make a BIG diff, it takes a lot of the fore and aft rocking as well as side to side movement out of the camper. What I have been told, a combo of a king pin stabalizer and good wheel chocks like roto chocks or simular will eliminate 95% of the movement out of you unit, the king pin stabalizer took most of mine out, well worth the inventment IMO, and the 3 ledded ones colapse down pretty good and lays nicely along side the hitch in the truck. With the front bedroom in ours the extra stabalization is a good thing

That's right! When she's happy I'm happy. A trailer is to small for an unhappy person.

Totally agree; I have a 2 legged king pin stab and ajustable wheel chocks. This combo all but illiminated any side to side or for and aft movement.

I have the two legged - - definitely makes a difference. I use it if we are settled in for a week or so. Also makes me swing away from the kingpin when walking - - saves damaging the kingpin from me hitting it with my head.

I also love mine. I never knew how much of a difference they made until I used mine for the first time. Mine was given to me by my neighbors. I think it's a Reese. I would call your local RV dealer if you don't get an answer on what folks think might be best. Somehow I don't think you'll have to worry about that though.

I've got the tripod one that camping world sells. It's on sale right now for club members... $99.

BAL seems to be the most popular. They also have a lock that goes on it to help prevent the stand disappearing mysteriously - - also works when storing the RV.

I have the BAL 3 legged stand and roto-choks for both sets of tires. As my fiver sits taller than most ( had the shackles raised to the highest setting to give mew more bed rail clearance ) the thing used to rock & roll when we were moving around inside. Now it's rock steady
