Just ordered my 1st GN!!

I just ordered my 1st Gooseneck!!! I am pumped. I went 40' long with 3-7k axles. Its 35' flat with a 5' dove on the rear, low profile.

I have my truck at 10k so I went 16k on the trailer, which they said I will be able to pickup in 3-4 weeks.

I cant wait!!

Yeah I have had 2 bumper pulls in the last 10 years. A 20' enclosed trailer and a 18' equipment trailer. I dont mind them, and will keep the equipment trailer just for ease, but I needed a lot more room to haul on, and dont care for a bumper pull when you have a ton of tongue weight, plus you can only do so much with those weight distrib. hitches.

Itll be a learning experience, but should be a lot nicer to pull.

you will hate hooking up to your b/p after you start hauling around a g/n! I know i do. Although it may be nice maneuvering an 18' trailer around town after playing with the 40 footer all day... congrats on the new trailer!

Pulling a g/n is so much easier you will be really happy with it. The only disadvantage is turning make sure you go wide.
