My Jordan did stop very well and was easy to adjust on the fly. But it started sticking on (not a sticking cable) and became a problem. Just a bad unit. No reflection on Jordan in general. I was always uncomfortable with that brake pedal linkage, but it worked fine once set up. I talked to Jordan and decided to get a Brakesmart. It's harder to adjust but I like it better.

When you have a Brakesmart you got to be carefull to don't step to hard on the pedal. If you do that the chance is to tumble all the stuff in the trailer. I use to have a Prodigy and then Voyager none of them work with my hydraulik disk brake .

I have had my BrakeSmart for four years and would never go back. I also have the Jacobs exhaust brake. Makes a really nice combination for pulling 17K. "Wow" was my first reaction as well, when I first installed it. Noticed the difference right away. Smoooth and sure. Once it is set (mine worked fine with the default settings out of the box), you can forget it. Have not changed the settings in four years. And I know that Fiver Bob really, really, really wants a BrakeSmart.
