Jac Brake Available yet?

I had read sometime back that DC had withheld selling the JAC brake due to some kind of isuues? What were they & is the new/improved brake available now?
Where is a good place to get a good price on one?
Does Cummins sell them?

That's where I got mine from a couple months ago too...... best price.
If you look at the Jacobs website http://www.jakebrake.com/content.php4?doc%20uid=73
it'll give you all the info you need....btw, there were no issues with an '02 truck regareding a Jacobs E-brake.

After much misinformation from my dealer, they finally figured out how to get the approved Exhaust brakes from Jacobs.

My dealer kept telling me DC had not approved the installation of the Jacobs brand brake. But with the help of this site I supplied the dealer with the correct part number. He admitted that he didn't know what he was getting when he ordered the part number. He thought it was a PacBrake. When the part finally arrived he was surprised to see that it was a Mopar approved Jacobs.

My truck goes to the dealer tomorow for installation...I hope they're not as confused about the installation.

I had a Jacobs E brake on my last truck and loved it.

I understand that Cummins Dealers may be a better alternative than DC for E brake installation, cost & competency wise. Anyybody actually priced the two? Needles to say, Cummins does this for a living, while DC does it as just another product of many products. It would seem from othet cooments that DC is quite high on almost everything.

On a second note, I thought they(Cummins) may also be a good place to get gauges installed. Again, any experiences out there to reflect?

During my pricing of the brake, locally DC was more expensive than the Cummins store, but that Mechanicsville I believe is THE LOWEST price nationwide. Even shipped to AK ($44) it was still cheaper than buying one locally.
I did the install.....fun, free, easy, and no foreign hands touching my truck.
Also supr, I would suggest (just my own opinion here) that unless you have money to burn, install your own gauges.
I just read a different thread where someone was quoted $850 for gauges (boost, egt & FP) including the install that's just insane !!!!
