I read this thought it was cool,, For Ford lovers

I thought this was kindof funny,, had to share it with you all..
This was taken here, http://www.woodalls.com/forums/index...nePage/Yes.cfm

Heading for a guide trip last weekend, I was driving from Redding (CA) up to Mt. Shasta though the mountains. Cruising along between 50, 55, and 60 miles per hour, between uphills, downhills, and turns. Will all the mods I’ve done to my truck and that my 5th wheel isn’t particularly big, I go just about as fast as I want to in the mountains. I drive these mountains all the time.
Well, I was going around a sweeping right hand turn that lead to a fairly steep uphill grade. In my review mirror I saw some headlights coming my way. FAST! A few seconds later, a brand new Ford F350 Crew cab 4x4, diesel towing a trailer that looked about 26 ft. long passed me like I was standing still!

I just thought to myself “Wow, I can’t believe how fast that guy’s going up this!” I drove along shocked for a while. I then started wondering how could he be towing that fast in this terrain. I just couldn’t understand how he could have that much more power and towing control/ability than my truck.

Well… he didn’t. About 15 minutes up the road I saw him on the side of the road 1/3 of the way up a long grade. With his hood up! You can’t tow like that!

Best,

Flywaterguide

Flywaterguide
25' Sunnnybrook CKFS(Brookie)
2002 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 (8.1L/Allison/4.10, 45 gal tank, Wester's reprogrammed PCM, Gibson Headers, Flowmaster Cat-back)

The whole area around Shasta is nothing but turns, and hills. Loaded Race trailer (~17,500 lbs combined) 60-65 is all I care to do. Pickup can do more but it's just not wise, nor safe for myself, family and others on the road. One wrong wind gust, shift in load, or dang Califorina driver (that thinks they own the road and everybody else needs to get out of the way :)
