Last month I was asked how I liked my Hemi. "It's not a hemi" I replied. As the guy walked to the front of my truck to look at my fender, I said "It's just a little six".
"Yea, with gobs of torque" was his response.
I've only had a ton of wood pellets in my bed, 4 times, so far and was really impressed accelerating up an on ramp on easy it was. I can't wait to get a trailer so I can haul all four tons at once.

My travel trailer weighs in around 8000lbs. All our highways here are one lane each direction, and the longest flat/straight stretch on any of them is about 15ft . I love the way I can put the pedal down and pass transports just as quick as some of the little hotrod cars on the road (that aren't hauling 8000lbs...)!! And that's stock... I can hardly wait till next summer after some mods make themselves at home under the hood.....

As far as loads in the bed are concerned I put a pallet of brick and 6 bags of mortar est weight 2260lbs in the bed. 1/4" off of the overload springs and finally my truck rode smooth as glass. No wallowing in the twisties either
The cummins did not even notice!!!
I guess that I'm used to a much lesser vehicle! I'm still wondering what weight will actually make this truck,(As the owners manual says), "Work".???
