How About Tripple Axle??

OK, I am getting ready to put my trailer brake controller in, its a KELSEY-HAYES ENERGIZER, a couple years old, had it in my last hauler, I have been yankin around trailer for a couple years without trailer brakes- I know, I know, do not rape me on this issue, Its stupid and should not be done and all that, but I did it, and had no accidents, but even I know how dumb it was, ok, what I am wondering, this brake controller is I think for 2-4 brake set-up, Not sure about 6, but what if its not??? What will happen when I hook up to the triple axle trailer I pull?? will it not work at all? too much juice? triple has all 3 axles with brakes. need to know, befor I decide to mount this one in. I am not sure If This is the trailer I will be pulling for good as I am hauling alot more now, and might buy a new tandom duelwheel trailer. oh, and 1 more thing, has anyone heard of tekonsha controllers??

My first controller said that it was just for 2-4 brakes but it seemed to work fine. I used it for about 2 months or so without problems.

I always set them for the most brakes that they are capable of and leave them there, regardless of whether 1,2, or 3 axles have brakes.

we have a triple axle at work with only one brake axle (the front). its rough driving around town unloaded since the axle just barely touches the ground.

I run a Tekonsha Voyager, as do 4 of my friends. We have pulled all kinds of trailers, with weights from a few thousand pounds, to nearly 20k. All of us have been very satisfied.

I bought mine because of a reccomendation of the manager of the Utility service department here. (VERY long story on how I got involved with them) But he owned 3 of them, and never a problem, so I fiured I would give it a shot. Glad I did.

I really like Tekonshas. I have a sentinel, which is my favorite, the envoy, and the voyager. I don't like the voyager, but the envoy and sentinel are both powerful and easy to adjust.

we think alike, i to have the voyager and no issues with it, and ive loaded my truck down to about 25K in the past. one, two or three axles, it dont discriminate, it just works!

It should work. I have always run vorager's and we have two 3 axle trailers as well as a couple tandem's and a couple single's and the voyager's in all the trucks work for any of them. Had a prodigy in two different trucks and didn't really see any difference other than a fancy guage, especially for twice the price.
