Talking Homemade trailers PICS?? (post yours)

I have a two-horse homemade trailer I want to convert into some sort of something different. Not sure right now. I was going to make it into a contractor trailer. But now I am going down a different career path. I also have a 20' van box I want to convert into some sort of trailer. I am looking for ideas. Any advice or ideas?

Who here has homemade trailers? I would love to see them. tell me about them and post your pics!! You don't have to have built them your self!

Thanks Guys!

D-C out!

PS I will try to get some pics up of my two futrue projects!

Back when the kids were still living at home I made a toybox for the dez,it had tandem axles, quad shocks rollin on 35" tires. It carried all the ATCs,and bikes (with a drum of race gas permanetly mounted) at just about any speed and over any terrain. The tow vehicle had tripple race shocks and custom springs with an aluminum framed cab over camper with all the comforts rollin on 40's.Don't remember ever taking any pics.Too busy havin fun.

Talking Heres mine!

Well here are the ones I intend on working on, I didn't build the horse trailer, but I am going to modify it. I want to put axles and a goose neck on the van box. Maybe make a camp trailer or something? Any advice??

Nice work! I have thought about it, but with the cost of steel around here I can buy one for not much more.

Ya, its not cheap to build one, thats for sure. I just like to fab my own stuff i guess, and i did get a good deal on the axles and springs, lights, and wheels on ebay.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Here is my 32' deck long tall adjustable goose under construction:
Under-slung 12k disc brake axles,Carlisle brake actuator(1600psi pump) rev beaver-tail and bumper too, led lighting, 2 dual speed spring loaded jacks, brackets for bolt on tail roll, Side pockets are out of slip tubing 12" centers on the cross brackets to support the Rumber decking.. there is over 75lbs of .045 wire in this project.. I built the front fenders on the forklift to replace the plastic ones that came on it.

Fnished 22' deck long tall adjustable goose:
7200 lb electric brake/ez lube under-slung axles, reverse beaver-tail,led lights, Rumber decking W/ S.S. deck screws. 2- dual speed spring loaded jacks, Receiver tubing for side-board sockets, it is set up to pull another trailer.. My Motto when Pulling Two Trailers Is "Don't worry there's a Cummins in front of it!"

The Toy Box Trailer is Next In-Line...

I would put the box on a goose that was 8-10 longer than your box..this would give you room to put the toys on and when there off at camp you have a nice porch to put the fold out easy chair on.

There are some very nice home built trailers in here. I really enjoy building stuff out of metal. Not sure why I am a finishing carpenter. I like welding wish I didn't suck at it so bad. By the time I get my project done I almost get the hang of welding, then its don't do it for another year.
I don't have a picture of my home built, I only got to help the welding was done by a friend who knew how. I just supplied the cash to buy stuff for it, and I didn't have a lot back then. Still proud of the old green machine, it was fun going scrounging for materials and all that.
