I built myself a 16' car trailer to haul my Jeep to the trails.

Nice trailer, looks good.

But aren't fenders required? Or maybe you are adding them later.

I would consider getting that box weighed before you build under it... We moved one a few years ago up to the UP to be a storage shed at deer camp. About the same size of that one. Man was it heavy......

My point is, you may have to build a very substantial trailer under that box, or be very limited to what you can carry in it...

remember that box came off the back of a pretty heavy truck..

My $.02 worth,

Bryan

Here's the GN I designed & built:

It has an extra long reach, an extra high arch, powered drop ramp, 2" SS bed rollers, 12K# hydro winch, soundproofed aluminum treadplate skin, fully welded tube frame and SS tube railings... spectator's patio on top of arch for motorsports events.

HA!!! Funny one Top! Only problem is I love to weld and I already have the box and the little horse trailer.

These are some great trailers! Any more out there??

I like the porch idea for the van box, I think I want to go with goose neck setup for it. But I have heard if you are going to have a camp trailer that fith wheel is the way to go, What is the difference?

Any ideas on the horse trailer?

That one is by Bull Dog and is rated to 30K , I really like it as if you jump between vehicles with diff. ball heights all you do is loosen one set screw and put it where you want it, it has 8" of travel built in to it. The rumber decking is on and it's time to plumb in the brakes..
