Hi speed internet

What are the current recommendations for high speed internet in the middle of nowhere, specifically the middle of Mexico nowhere. There is only a sort of cell phone connection at that particular location.. What about costs?

Have been searching the internet, but nothing jumps out at me. Everything that I have looked at centers on the US, but not sure if it will work in central Mexico. What about satellite?

On the farm we had to go with satellite as nothing else would work, it's only 10mps max which is a huge change from the 175mps we had with fiber optic at the last house. We tried wireless on our 30ft tower but would have needed a 100ft tower for it to work.

Thanks for the answer. This is sort of the route that I am expecting to go. Will not need this until late next year, so maybe by then there is something new available. At 10mps can you stream anything such as music or a video?

The sat system equipment is supposedly being updated to 25mps which would be better. When we moved back to the farm we dropped our Netflix so haven't tried to stream TV yet as I've been too busy with other things. My wife does stream a live baby cam of our grand daughter but just to her phone, the quality is only just ok. We'll try Netflix again eventually so I'll update.

Just to update on the satellite internet access. We recently got a Google Home which is similar to Alexis, it works only from wifi over the satellite and operates great for streaming music from Google play along with all the other things it can do. We still haven't tried Netflix again due no time. The package we have gives 100gig at 10mbps but we get 662 ping, 11.94 mbps down and 0.64 mbps upload.
