Gatormade 25+5, tandem single 16k, 5900lbs..3-4 weeks...$7495

All Pro Trailer, 25+5, tandem single, 14k, 5500lbs...3-4 weeks...$5690

Brute Hydraulic Dove tail 20+11, he says it weighs in around 6500lbs..$11,500

I have the PJ 27+5 and love it. No torsion tube on mine and not sure if they have started putting them on or not. Started pulling with the '99 2500 but tranny didn't like the weight I had on it. The load was another 14K. Now use the 07.5 3500 DRW. No issues with the 07.5 pulling and have had a total gross weight of 36K on rare occassions.

check you state, but my state has different class of registration, at 18k in MN it goes way up compared to the 15 K class. Just something to think about

IT may work for regiatration purpose but not for dodging needing a CDL.

CDL requirements are based of off GVWR.

Tandem singles pull easier. You pay for quality. Brute trailers are better from what I have seen. I would go tandem single 16 0r 20k. The Brute would be my choice if you plan on having it a long time.

My concern would be how far back your axles will be.. Mainly what kinda pin weight you will have when you stick two cars on there...

What sort of cars are going on it? The power dovetail would be a must if they are expensive/low to the ground.
