I have a 98 CTD w/a 7 pin round connector on the back. is there a way I can take a 7 pin (male side) connector shell & custom wire it to run both the lights on my flat 4 connector for the boat & have a hot & ground to run the cooling fans on the dog box in the bed of my truck. I'd like to run the cooling fans to a dedicated hot so the fans can run whether the lights are on or not.

The 12v accessory power in the tow connect is always hot. I custom made a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter for towing small trailers.
I also made a custom wire harness with a 7 pin female and a 5 pin extension for my truck camper.
Just buy the parts and some wire.
