Gooseneck vs 5th wheel clearance questions
I was wondering if there is any clearance problems with a short bed when towing a gooseneck horse trailer? When towing my 5er I have to use the slider to be sure I have enough cab to trailer clearance when backing up as I get close to 80*. Will I have the same worries if I tow a gooseneck trailer?

It depends on how wide the trailer is at the tip of the hitch, as to how sharp your gona be able to turn.My son hauls a 4 horse around with his short bed and no problem

Exactly. If it is square and full width at the hitch point it won't work on a short bed. But if it has a round or angled nose, or the hitch is ahead of the nose it could work. Try it before you buy it.
