Gooseneck question
Gooseneck question
I have a shortbed...Gooseneck work back there? it would be used for a toy hauler, for our cattle haulers and for an equipment hauler. My father has a shortbed 2nd Gen, but he does everything 5th wheel...I prefer gooseneck because they are rated higher. Sure, they are a little harder to get hooked up, but when you are possibly hooking up to 26K backhoe/trailer combos, I would prefer to have the gooseneck...thanks
It will be fine. There are two options if a regular gooseneck doesnt allow you enough room. B&W makes an offset hitch for their hitch, and there are also various different slider hitches available. If you buy a slider type 5th wheel, that would also be more likely to be what you need for a toy hauler. You can always switch your other trailers necks out to 5th wheel or buy an adapter plate to set on the top of the 5th wheel hitch.
