Gooseneck Ball ?
Where on earth does a person find a 2 5/16 goose neck hitch ball with 1 1/4" threaded shank? I need one with about a 2" rise for my hitch I am building and cant seem to find one.

Why would you want a GooseNeck hitch ball that only had a 1 1/4" THREADED SHANK! I hope that you are not intending on pulling anything over 6,000 pounds!
Every GooseNeck ball that I have ever seen has a massive lower section that gets pinned in.

I would try
the local trailer supply joint, I would also try northern tools, quality trailers, or southwest tire and wheel..
1 and 1/4 inch shanks hold well, you really cannot go much thicker than the actual diameter of the ball in the center (ie between the actual ball, and the place it sits)... so either ways, your shank even if its bigger will not compensate for that particular weakpoint in the ball..

I have seen the 2" rise 1 1/4 shank ***** rated to the full 30,000 lbs but I cant find one online or local to save my life.

Just about any auto-parts store should have a 3" Hi-rise 30,000 ball with threaded shank; I saw one on the wall today for $30.
A two inch rise is somewhat harder to find and may need to be ordered.
The standard "no-rise" ***** are about a thing of the past, due to the trailer-hitch grinding into the plate, when pivoting.
It used to be a common sight to see a groove etched around the ball, where the hitch had dug in when articulating; that was before hi-rise ***** became available.
I haven't actually measured a shank in a long time; but, I think about 1-1/4" is about right, possibly 1-1/2".

See, why cant I live in an area that has parts stores that stock stuff like that. Nobody here has one. They look at me funny when I ask for one.
Maybe NAPA can order one. Thats the only one that I didnt check with.

I have this one-
It could probably be used for some of the other Remov-A-Ball hitches as well. Has a hole for a pin that can't be seen in the pic.
