Draw Tite Remova-ball Gooseneck hitch
Just had my new Draw-Tite Remova-ball Gooseneck hitch installed yesterday.
Anyone else using this hitch??
It's rated for 30,000 lbs trailer weight.
Looks like a decent setup.
A handle operates a pin that locks the ball in place. When not in use, remove the ball. Pretty simple.
the 4"x6" magnet that covers the hole is kinda lame though.
I'm gonna hook a 11,000+ lbs load to it this afternoon see how it works.
Looks like there is alot of bracing and frame rail support.
Just wondered if anyone else has used this hitch?

Yep!
Been running one for almost 6 years now with no problems. I bought mine for the fact that everything was located in the bed of the truck. We have 3 B&W Turnovers on the farm and the release handle gets froze up in the winter and I don't care for getting a hand full of mud during the summer. Just keep a little grease or some other lube on the spring and the hitch will work everytime you need it.

Great, glad to hear I'm not the only one
I thought the hitch and frame rail kit looked really stout. I was worried about the handle through the fender well getting stuck as well, as I run gravel and dirt roads continuously plus a fair bit of off road and barnyard type travel, everything gets caked in mud etc up there.
I'm going to try and coat the pin and spring in Antisiese grease.
Ever seen a fifth wheel adapted to that type hitch???
